NAVIGATION SKILLS REFRESHER DAY COURSE - LAKE DISTRICT
A day course in Navigation Skills suitable as a refresher for people who have been on a navigation skills course before, or for anyone with existing navigation skills wanting to consolidate.
This day course will cover some challenging navigation terrain, and during the day you'll receive lots of useful instruction on map reading and using your compass to take and follow bearings, along with a refresher on distance and some more advanced navigation skills. The exact content will be tailored to your needs on the day.
The course is based in the Haweswater/Ullswater area of the Lake District, just 20 minutes from J39 on the M6 or in the splendid Langdale area. Excellent accommodation is available locally at the Mardale Inn
