HOWESBECK - LAKE DISTRICT HOLIDAY COTTAGE

Highpoint have access to Howesbeck Holiday Cottage at Bampton, next door to John and his family, and just 10 minutes from J39 M6, 15 minutes from Ullswater or Penrith and just 10 minutes from Haweswater. It's an ideal base for our courses, perfect for a Lake District walking holiday or a quiet break away from it all.

Bampton is a delightful, unspoiled Lakeland village with a couple of pubs including the Mardale Inn which is just 5 minutes walk and a small shop.

There is much wildlife in the area, with Red Squirrels a common favourite, but in the Haweswater valley you can see the Lake District Eagles, Red Deer and Peregrines.

Ground Floor

Heated by central heating the accommodation comprises:

Lounge: With woodburning stove, colour TV, DVD, CD player and video.

Kitchen/dining: With electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

Bedroom 1: With double bed.

Bedroom 2: With twin beds.

Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin.

All electric, coal fired central heating, all coal and bed linen provided. Cot available.

Outside cobbled courtyard and private parking - there's not much of a garden, but open fells run around the side and rear of the cottage, so plenty of space.
