MONDAYS: 9.30-4.30 WINTER HILL SKILLS £70
A fantastic day out on the fells in full winter conditions. We'll teach you how to walk correctly using ice axe and crampons on different slopes, and cover many other useful winter skills - perfect for newcomers to winter on the high fells and those wanting a refresher.
TUESDAYS: 9.30-12.45 ABSEILING £30 (£20)
Classic abseil session in the quarries - training abseils, followed by a chance to try THE BIG ABSEIL if you're up for it! Suitable for beginners as well as those who have some experience. Quarry tunnel walk included!
WEDNESDAYS: 10.00-2.00 £30 (£20)
Climbing session for beginners and improvers - climb some great little routes with all levels of difficulty catered for.
THURSDAYS: NAVIGATION DAY 9.30-4.30 £65
An eye-opening day of map and compass skills for beginners and improvers covering a wide range of topics and tailored to the course members.

MONDAYS: 10.00-2.00 HAVE A GO - CLIMBING AND ABSEILING FOR BEGINNERS (LANGDALE) £40 (U15 £30)
A short walk leads up to Copt Howe, a delightful outcrop of volcanic rock from which there are stunning views down the Langdale valley. There are lots of climbs here, with the best ones in the easy and middle grades, though there are some tough routes for experts too. In this session you'll have the opportunity to do several climbs and abseils, and learn to belay your fellow climbers. Suitable for ages 10 and up. All specialist equipment is provided and instructors are experienced and qualified professionals.
TUESDAYS: 9.15-12.30 ABSEILING - THE BIG ABSEIL (LITTLE LANGDALE) £30/£20
A dramatic entrance through old quarry tunnels leads to the Black Hole - an old slate quarry which is a prefect venue for abseiling. A training abseil provides a good start point, after which you can try the Big Abseil - almost 50 metres of smooth quarry wall, complete with overhang - a memorable experience! Suitable for ages 10 and up. All specialist equipment is provided and instructors are experienced and qualified professionals.
TUESDAYS: 1.15-4.15 GORGE SCRAMBLE (LANGDALE) £30/£20
Based in the spectacular Langdale Valley, our gorge scramble tackles one of the Gills which tumble down from the Langdale Pikes. (A Gill is the old Norse word fo the ravines which have been cut out by the mountain streams.) You'll be crossing waterslides and pools, scrambling up the side of waterfalls and you'll be enchanted by the beauty of this remarkable environment. And yes, you'll probably get wet - though how wet depends on the local weather and conditions - great fun and brilliant for groups.
WEDNESDAYS: 9.15-12.30 ROCK CLIMBING - BEGINNERS AND IMPROVERS (LANGDALE) £30/£25
A pure rock climbing session - great for beginners and if you've climbed on indoor walls or done a bit outside before you'll also find it OK. With climbs on perfect volcanic rock from easy to as hard as you like, there is something for everyone, and our experienced instructors will give you lots of help to improve your technique.
WEDNESDAYS: 1.15-4.45 MULTI PITCH CLIMB - MIDDLEFELL BUTTRESS (LANGDALE) £50
Raven Crag is one of the best climbing locations in Langdale, just 10 minutes from the road and with some great routes including this multi-pitch classic. Suitable for beginners or improvers wanting to learn more,the climb has 5 or 6 stages called pitches, and ends high above the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel - a great place for a pint!
THURSDAYS: 9.15-4.15 MAP READING SKILLS COURSE - LEARN HOW TO NAVIGATE ON THE HILLS WITH MAP AND COMPASS £50.

FRIDAYS: 9.15-4.15 LANGDALE SCRAMBLES - A CLASSIC SERIES OF SCRAMBLES TO THE TOP OF THE PIKES (LANGDALE PIKES) £60
This day normally includes scrambles in Stickle or Dungeon Ghyll, and on Tarn Crag and Pavey Ark following the famous Jack's Rake. Our instructors will provide safety advice and instruction in scrambling techniques, and will always have a safety rope to hand in case anyone has a nervous moment! With plenty of advice to help you undertake scrambles of your own, you can also enjoy a great experience in the company of an experienced professional.
