This afternoon we took Lizzie, Dave and Jay rock climbing at Lower scout crag, they all had a bit of indoor climbing experience, but wanted to transfer the skills to the outdoors, the weather could not have been better as we covered climbing and belay techniques, movement and basic rope work, before tackling some great VDIFF routes, amazingly we were the only team at the crag, even though the valley was teaming with people enjoying the sunshine, well done guys, im afraid my camera battery died so no photos unfortunately (although I know you got some), to hopefully make up, here is one of my current favourite photos ;-)

We took the Rodgers family out for a ghyll scramble in the glorious sunshine today, we donned the wetsuits as the water is still very cold, but it was very warm in the sun between sections, we scrambled, traversed and plunged our way to the highlight of the day, the big waterfall climb! this is a 25ft climb up vertical, wet and slippy rock whilst being pelted by cold water!! (its a lot more fun than it sounds! ;-).......we then decended and tackled the plunge pool to finish, big well done to all the family, and I hope to see you all again for some rock climbing.
