We provided mountain guides for a great group of guys from Liverpool last weekend, they were attempting the famous national UK 3 peaks challenge, 24hrs to summit the 3 highest mountains in the UK,  Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowden.

An early start in Fort William (06.30!!) and great weather gave them a great chance of success, and the guys were up and down Ben Nevis within 6hrs, even though there was lots of snow above 800m, (End of May!!) a 5 hour drive down to the Lake District followed and Scafell Pike dispatched by Midnight, then a race down to Wales and on to Mt Snowden, eventually finishing the challenge with mins to spare!

Well done to all 14 guys, there will be more than a few aching legs this week!

We used our vast network of trusted mountain guides up and down the country to help keep the clients costs down, so the group had fresh local guides on each mountain, this ensures travel costs are minimised and all guides are fully rested before the clients arrive at each mountain.
